The acrobat

This is truly a gorgeous image!

The colors are magnificent as is the lighting, and the ladybug really stands out from the background. The whole image feels bright and playful, as we see the ladybug trying to climb onto the blade of grass without falling off: it now has a sort of character that the viewer can relate to.

The way the subject is off center works excellently for this image; I don't think it would have been as effective if it had been more centered. Similarly, the focus is perfect, so that all the details of the ladybug can be seen, the blade of grass it is on gets slightly more blurry leading into the background which, though it is blurry, still shows some individual blades so the view knows it is all just a field of grass. Plus, the different colored blades give a little more interest to the shot.

I definitely have to applaud you for this photograph. Great work!
